Introduction

The Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research (IDSDMR) is a sub-branch of the Imperial Directorate, directly controlled by the Director of Development. The primary function of the IDSDMR is too development new aspects that will better the overall operations and progress of the Directorate. The other important function of the IDSDMR is to research new tactics, or new technologies for military use.

Main Complex

The Main Complex for the Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research is located on Daltar, homeworld of the ID, about 12 kilometers from Gondor Base. The massive complex consists of 80 buildings on 860 acres of land. The different buildings that make up the IDSDMR Complex are: 6 massive assembly bays, 25 Housing Units, 40 Research Centers, 2 Operation Building, 4 Testing Centers, a security station, a hanger bay, and the main Headquarters. The Main Complex houses over 1250 Researchers, Analysts, Designers, Technicians, and Engineers. The Main Complex also has its own personal Security Force with over 250 Agents. The Hanger Bay is designated for transports, shuttles, and small frigates that come directly from the VHC Shadow. It also hold the DoD’s personal shuttle and two Royal Guard TIE Fighters for escort purposes.

The Headquarters is the largest building in the complex. It has 60 floors and over 250 offices, with the DoD's office and personal chambers sitting on the top floor. The Headquarters sits in the middle of the complex, overlooking the 860 acres of land, with Gondor Base being visible to the east, above the 58th floor.
