About the IDSDMR The Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research (IDSDMR) is a sub-branch of the Imperial Directorate, directly controlled by the Strategic Development Director. The primary function of the IDSDMR is too development new resources & conduct military research that will better the overall operations and progress of the Directorate. IDSDMR Complex The Main Complex for the Imperial Department of Strategic Development & Military Research is located on Daltar, homeworld of the ID, about 9 kilometers from Gondor Base. The massive complex sits on top of 240 acres of land with a combine floor space of over 500,000 square feet. It is made up of 2 massive assembly bays, 4 Research Centers, 2 Operation Building, 4 Testing Centers, a security station, a hanger bay, and the main Headquarters. Each building is connected thru a series of colonnades. The Complex also has its own personal Security Force with 100 agents on duty. The Hanger Bay is designated for transports, shuttles, and small frigates that come directly from the VHC Shadow. It also holds the SDD’s personal shuttle and two Royal Guard TIE Fighters for escort purposes. The Headquarters is the largest building in the complex. It has 42 floors and over 750 offices, meeting rooms & Laboratories. It also has staff quarters for the 1,000 Scientists, Designers, and Engineers that live on complex. The SDD’s office and personal chambers sits on the top floor over looking the 240 acres of land, with Gondor Base being visible to the east. VHC Shadow Designed by High Admiral Selden and constructed by the IDSDMR in conjunction with the Tian Shipyards, at a secret Development Complex just outside the Tain System, the VHC serves two purposes. During a time of peace the VHC serves as the personal flagship to the Strategic Development Director with the bottom portion of the Carrier being utilized as a Mobile Development & Research Station for the IDSDMR. However, when called on by the Executor it serves as the warship for the Home Guard Fleet, and provides a broad array of support and weapons that bring an equalizing effect to any field of battle. The Mobile Development & Research Station utilizes over 75 Research Centers, 50 Development Centers, 25 specialized Hanger/Cargo Bays, and the Auxiliary Command Tower as its Headquarters. The Mobile Development & Research Station allows the IDSDMR to conduct more field research, and develop new assets for the ID that are only possible in space.
